Philippine Air Force Orders Six A-29 Super Tucanos

Embraer has announced an order from the Philippine Air Force for six A-29 Super Tucano close air support aircraft.

The order was announced on November 30, 2017 and deliveries are expected to begin in 2019. It seems likely that the A-29s will replace the OV-10 Broncos in service with the Philippine Air Force.
A previous announcement from Embraer in October for six A-29s to an undisclosed customer is thought to be separate from the Philippine announcement.
