Two United States Air Force B-1B Lancers flew a training mission with two Japanese Air Self Defence Force F-15Js near the Senkaku Islands on August 15, 2017.

The B-1Bs are deployed from Ellsworth Air Force Base to Andersen Air Force Base in Guam and are assigned to the 37th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron.
