The French Air Force (Armée de l'Air) took delivery of their first Airbus A.330-MRTT Phénix at Istres on October 02, 2018.

The first of fifteen aircraft to be delivered was 041 (MSN 1735/F-UJCG) which wore full full GRV 02.091 'Bretagne' marks on the tail and '31 EARTS' marks under the cockpit.
