German Air Force to Acquire Single A321-200

The German government signed a contract on January 05, 2017 for the procurement of a single Airbus A321-200 for the Air Force's Special Air Mission Wing.

The aircraft will be delivered in 2018 after mission outfitting with Lufthansa Technik at Hamburg.

The Special Air Mission Wing currently operates a fleet of A319CJs, BD-700s, A310s and A340s.
