The Indian Air Force Chief of Air Staff has confirmed that they will re-engine their fleet of Sepecat Jagaurs.

There are currently around 120 Jaguars in service with the Indian Air Force and Honeywell will supply 270 F125IN engines to replace the Rolls Royce Adour 821s that currently power the aircraft.

The F125 is significantly lighter than the Adour and should improve the take off ability of the Jaguar, especially in "hot and high" conditions.
