354th Fighter Wing F-35As Deploy to Kadena AB

On March 28th twelve F-35As from the Eielson AFB based 355th Fighter Squadron deployed to Kadena Air Base in Japan. The deployment comes as more of the Kadena based F-15C/Ds are due to return to the USA in the coming months. Also currently deployed to Kadena on long term TDY are F-16s from the 52nd Fighter Wing at Spangdahlem Air Base in Germany.
