On October 19, 2017 a Grob G-120TP operated by the Argentinian Air Force crashed near the town of Alta Garcia. Both the pilot and instructor on board were able to parachute out of the aircraft and sustained minor injuries

The aircraft is believed to be serial number E-509 and is one of ten G-120TPs delivered to Argentina in 2014.
