The first of two ex Royal Air Force Lockheed C-130Js has been handed over to the Bahrain Defence Force by Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group on November 13, 2018.
The C-130J Super Hercules carries the Bahraini serial 702 and is ex Royal Air Force Hercules C.5 XH886 (c/n 5484).

As well as one further example to go to Bahrain (ex ZH880, c/n 5478, to be 701) the Royal Air Force will dispose of two C-130Js to Bangladesh and a single example to the US Navy for use as the Blue Angels support aircraft. Marshall Aerospace has been contracted to prepare the aircraft for delivery to their new operators at their Cambridge facility.
