First Two F-35As Delivered to Eielson Air Force Base

The first two Lockheed F-35As for the 354th Fighter Wing arrived at Eieslon Air Force Base, Alaska on April 21, 2020. The aircraft delivered were 18-5345 (AF-236) and 18-5346 (AF-237).

Eielson is the first base in the Pacific Air Forces' theater to operate the F-35A, with a total of 54 of the type planned for delivery by the end of 2021.
