On January 15, 2018 eight Royal Air Force Typhoon FGR.4s arrived at Lajes in the Azores on their way to Nellis Air Force Base to take part in Exercise Red Flag.
The eight Typhoons all arrived from RAF Coningsby, with tanker support coming from RAF Brize Norton. The Typhoons continued their onward journey to Bermuda.
