The first Airbus A400M for the Spanish Air Force made it's maiden flight on September 6th from the Airbus Military factory in Sevilla.

The aircraft wore Spanish test registration EC-400, with all other serials taped over. The aircraft should be serial T.23-01-10074/31-21.

The second and third A400Ms off the line for Spain will be tanker/transports and as such their serials will be TK.23-02-10075/31-61 and TK.23-03-10076/31-62.
