Two B-52H Stratofortresses has deployed to RAAF Base Darwin to part in an Enhanced Air Cooperation (EAC) initiative with the Royal Australian Air Force. The aircraft involved are 60-0025 and 61-0002.
The B-52Hs are assigned to the 20th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron from Barksdale AFB, Louisiana and arrived in Australia via Andersen AFB in Guam.
Whilst in Australia the bombers will train with Royal Australian Air Force F/A-18A Hornets and PC-9 aircraft as well as Joint Terminal Attack Controllers in designated military airspace near RAAF Williamtown.
