Four New A-29 Super Tucanos Delivered to Afghan Air Force

The Afghan Air Force received a further four Embraer A-29 Super Tucanos at Bagram Airbase on March 20, 2017.

The four aircraft were delivered from Moody Air Force Base in Georgia where they had been in use training Afghan aircrew.

There are now twelve A-29s in Afghanistan where they are used for close air attack, air interdiction, escort and armed reconnaissance.
