On July 12, 2019 that latest two F-35Is for the Israeli Air Force arrived at Lajes Air Base in the Azores. The aircraft wore serials 925 "Retro51" and 926 "Retro52" and were supported by United States Air Force KC-10A Extender 79-9147 "Blue01".

The F-35s arrived at Lajes direct from the Lockheed facility at Carswell Field, Fort Worth. They were due to continue their journey on wards to Israel.
