On November 12, 2018 four VMAQ-2 EA-6B Prowlers arrived at Lajes in the Azores as part of their journey home after their final operational cruise with the type.
Their return home also marks the final carrier deployment for the EA-6B Prowler which has been replaced by the EA-18G Growler on board US Navy aircraft carriers.
The four aircraft arriving at Lajes as "Trend01-04" were:-
