The last operational Lockheed C-5A Galaxy - serial number 70-0461 - was retired to Davis Monthan on September 2017, 2017. The US Air Force will continue to operate the recently upgraded C-5M "Super" Galaxy for many more years. The aircraft's final take off and landing is shown in the video below.
