The Georgia Air National Guard received their first Lockheed C-130J-30 Super Hercules on January 22, 2024 at Lockheed Martin's Marietta, GA facility. The first aircraft to be handed over to the 165th Airlift Wing was 20-5975 and it will be the first of eight aircraft to be operated by the unit in total. The C-130J-30 model will replace the C-130Hs currently in service with the 158th Airlift Squadron.
